Dr Ruddock is the Senior Partner at The Limes having joined the practice in 1994. Dr Ruddock’s clinical interests are in Women’s Health, Mental Health and Dermatology. Dr Ruddock is accredited to fit coils. Dr Ruddock is the Lead GP for Quality & Outcomes Framework (QOF) and for Prescribing. In 2023 Dr Ruddock moved to working in the practice on a part time basis working Monday to Wednesday.

Dr Sarah Maxted has worked at The Limes since 1997 when she arrived as a GP Registrar. After completing her GP training she joined the surgery as a Partner in 2001. Dr Maxted is a Hospital Practitioner in Breast Care and runs one of Leicestershire’s community Breast Pain Clinics which is linked with Glenfield Hospital’s Breast Unit. Other special interests include Menopause/HRT, Contraception and Learning Disability. Dr Maxted is trained in the insertion of coils. She is also one of our Undergraduate Trainers for Medical Students. Dr Maxted’s roles in the practice include that of Learning Disability Lead, Safeguarding Lead and she is the CQC Registered Manager.
Dr Simon Vincent (m)

Dr Vincent joined the surgery in 2015. His clinical interests are in Cardiology, Respiratory, Renal and Palliative Care. Dr Vincent has been a GP Trainer since 2008. From 2018 he was a GP Board Member for East Leicestershire & Rutland CCG before becoming the Clinical Director for North Blaby Primary Care Network from 2019 to 2021. In 2021 he returned to a full time role at The Limes and is currently the Managing Partner & lead GP for Mill Lodge (Huntington’s Disease) and Stewart House (Severe & Enduring Mental Health Rehabilitation) Units located in Enderby.

Dr Ben O’Connor joined The Limes as a Salaried GP in 2018 after completing his GP training at the practice. In 2020 he became a Partner. Dr O’Connor’s clinical interests are in General Medicine, Men’s Health, ENT, Palliative Care and Dermatology. He is trained in giving Joint Injections and in Minor Surgery. He is able to excise minor lumps, bumps and skin lesions in our minor ops room in the new extension. Dr O’Connor is our Lead GP Trainer. His other roles include that of Research Lead and Diabetes Lead.

Dr Charlotte Sloan started working at The Limes in 2018 as a GP Registrar. On qualification she joined the surgery as a Salaried GP in 2021 before becoming a Partner in 2022. Her clinical interests are Women’s Health, Menopause/HRT and Rheumatology. Dr Sloan is trained in Minor Surgery, an Undergraduate Trainer for our Medical Students and a Clinical Supervisor for our GP Registrars. Dr Sloan’s other roles include that of Paramedical Clinician Lead and Anticoagulation Lead.
